fish pie

Resepi yang diperolehi dari Puan Yat (seorang bos yang akan bertukar ke JKR). Saya memang sangat minat & bercita-cita untuk buat suatu hari nanti (tunggu dapat oven)...insyAllah. Simpan resepi di blog untuk elak hilang.

Resepi yang very simple & healthy food.


Ingredients:

1-2 fillet white fish (Lemon sole @ dory)

1 large onion - chopped

button mushrooms - sliced

fresh milk


Mash potatoes:

4-6 russet potatoes

fresh milk

butter

salt to taste


Sauce:

butter - large knob

1-2 table spoon flour

1 tsp coarsely ground black pepper

2 slices cheese


1. Put fish, chopped onions and sliced mushrooms in pie dish or deep baking tray.


2. Pour on milk just enough to cover fish. Bake in oven till just cooked.


3. Meanwhile, skin potatoes, cut into large cubes and boli till soft.


4. Drain, then mash hot potatoes with butter. Mix with milk to medium-soft consistency. Add salt to taste.


5. For sauce, melt butter in sauce pan. Stir in flour till slightly brown. Put in ground pepper.


6. Pour in strained milk from baked fish. Put in cheese slices and salt to taste. Stir on heat till a thick consistency.


7. Roughly mash fish in the pie dish. Pour sauce onto the fish and mix evenly.


8. Spoon the mash potatoes over the fish to cover completely. Use a fork to achieve a rough surface.


9. Bake in oven till potatoes topping become light brown at the peaks.


10. Serve with any kind of salad or steamed brocoli & carrots.


11. Alternatively, instead of baking in a large pie dish you can bake little pie-lets (those 2-3'' cute aluminium cups)...and freeze for later.
